iProspect, the search and digital performance arm of Aegis Media, and Carat have secured the digital media business for Asda.

Following a joint pitch against a number of agencies including Mediacom, Mindshare and Razorfish, iProspect and Carat were awarded the digital business. Carat and iProspect will work to bring together all insight, planning and execution to drive integration and performance across all channels.

The Aegis agencies will be responsible for driving performance and innovation across digital advertising and performance channels including display, paid and natural search and affiliates. The campaigns created will be integrated and optimized through leading reporting technology. 

The dedicated iProspect team will be based in Leeds and London and will represent a further building block in the growth of iProspect following the launch of a Manchester office earlier this year.

The win affirms the Aegis operating model as iProspect and Carat align to successfully deliver performance excellence through full integration across the businesses. 

iProspect recently cemented its position as the UK’s top search agency, with the acquisition of I Spy taking its search billings to £150m, offering clients the most extensive expertise in performance marketing in the UK.
