We developed the BVI Showscreen – the world’s first interactive and measurable audiovisual bus shelter. With a built in plasma-screen, speakers and touchpad, the Showscreen allows people to watch exclusive film footage, meet the characters, play games, enter competitions and download clips to mobiles. 25 sites were positioned in high-traffic urban environments. By encouraging people to stop and actively engage with the films we completely transformed the once-boring experience of waiting for a bus.

The Showscreens were seamlessly integrated into promotional communications opportunities to ensure we reached as many of our target as possible and encourage them to interact! This included PR in titles such as Heat and The Guardian, with movie stars doing photo-shoots interacting with the sites. We also used exclusive competitions and footage to encourage people to visit the sites. To heighten awareness poster sites in proximity were used to direct people to the Showscreens.
