Carat is the only major independent media agency network. We are owned by Aegis plc, a media, marketing and market research company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Aegis plc has two core business areas - Aegis Media, which includes ourselves, our digital network Isobar and sister agencies Vizeum and Posterscope; and Synovate, a leading global market research network.

As such, we are the only agency network without any creative agency affiliation. This independent and entrepreneurial spirit means we have complete freedom from the restrictions of the old models of "mass" marketing. It also ensures our advice to you will always be media-neutral and without prejudice. Finally, it means that we can work, and will probably have experience working closely together, with any of your chosen agencies - whether they are above and below the line creative agencies or even PR, events and sales promotion consultancies.
