I’ve spent 20 years tackling some big marketing and communications challenges, client and agency side, and been lucky enough to enjoy a few successes along the way.

During my time at Whitbread Beer Company I led Stella Artois from top 20 to a top 10 FMCG brand, winning FMCG brand of the year in 1998. At Starcom Motive, as Communications Director, I helped conceive and implement award winning creative media campaigns for Stella Artois, Levi’s and Johnnie Walker both in the UK and internationally. At Naked, as its first UK Managing Director, we built, scaled and sold an international business anchored around communications strategy (many said it couldn’t be done!). As a marketing consultant I helped unite the drinks industry to successfully launch a £100m social marketing campaign to promote responsible drinking working alongside government.

I feel excited to be in the driving seat of a powerful brand like Carat, as we enter a new era of media.

Home is undoubtedly more challenging. Two young boys, a husband working in the industry, make for many late nights, early mornings and never enough sleep!
